How it works
Once the 3-piece stove is assembled, fill the inside with wood. Since the fire will be started from the top of the stove, use large wood pieces/sticks on the bottom and smaller sticks and twigs at the top. Once the fire starts, it will burn quickly from the top down, bringing oxygen into the fire from the bottom holes of the stove. The multi chambers work as a gasifier – more heat is produced because the wood and smoke are both burning together. The stove burns very hot and efficiently, perfect for boiling water or cooking soups. Wrapping a titanium wind screen around the stove is recommended for controlling the flame and heat distribution. Like a campfire, only ash is leftover from using the TOAKS Titanium Backpacking Wood Stove.
