Boreal Custom Fire Starter, Ferro Rod w/Antler Handle, “the LYNX”, 3/8″

The LYNX Custom is a fire starter (ferrocerium rod) 3/8″ (10mm) diameter x 3.9″ (100mm) for Thousands of strikes! Casts hot sparks over 5000F to light even marginal tinder. The handle is a hand fitted deer antler with a leather lanyard. Does not come with a striker, use the back of your knife or a hard piece of steel. Check our other listings for a custom hardened steel striker.  These are custom made and there will be slight differences between them. I try and make them more or less the same, Gary. Don’t venture into the wilderness without it!
