Boreal Custom Fire Starter, Ferro Rod w/Wood Handle, “The WOLVERINE” – 1/2″

The WOLVERINE Custom is a fire starter (ferrocerium rod) 1/2″ (12.7mm) diameter x 8.5″ (overall) for Thousands of strikes! Casts hot sparks over 5000F to light even marginal tinder. The handle is a hand fitted solid Hardwood with a leather lanyard. The handle has been given a light coat of Beeswax polish with a minimum of sanding. Does not come with a striker, use the back of your knife or a hard piece of steel. Check our other listings for a custom hardened steel striker. Don’t venture into the wilderness without it!
